Our Classrooms

Lote Tree Academy currently offers classes from kindergarten to 8th grade:

• K-2nd (lower elementary) academic classes are taught in Evergreen building.

• All classrooms are compromised of 6 to 8 students maximum. Within the small groups, students benefit from individualized attention/teaching.

• Academic classes include English/Language Arts, Math, Scienc, and Social Studies.

• All academic curriculum follows Florida sunshine standards and meets grade level requirements.

• Many students at Lote Tree are taught at grade level or above grade level.

• Classrooms offer an interactive and individualized curriculum which keeps students engaged and challenged.

• Report Cards are issued quarterly for each academic subject.

• 3rd-8th grade take the National IOWA Assessment at the end of each academic year.

• In the afternoons we have elective classes taught by parents, experienced volunteers within the community, and sometimes university students. Electives include Islamic as well as recreational classes.
